Frequently Asked Questions
What do all of the codes and letters mean on PowerSchool?
M = you were absent ("missing"), please make up the work
L = you turned something in late
C = there's a comment about that assignment specific to you (read it)
-- = when an assignment description is put in PowerSchool you will see (--) in the box if the grade hasn't been put in, that doesn't mean
you didn't turn it in. I ALWAYS put a (0) in for work that has not been turned in, so if you see (--), then I have it and I need to enter
the score once I complete grading.
(0) = a (0) is entered when work is NOT turned in or when you are absent and you need to make something up. Remember, an (M) will
accompany absences.
(check mark) = for MAJOR assignments like essays, projects, etc. that will take several weeks to grade, I will enter a (check mark) if the
assignment was turned in on time. A (0) will be entered for work not turned in or if you are absent.
Once the work is turned in, I will change the mark to a (check mark) with the appropriate comment.

What if my computer/printer has an issue at home? Do I get an extension?
2. Use one of the student computers in the library and bring some $ to print.
3. Use your Google Drive to save your work at home so you can easily access and print it at school in either the
library or in Mrs. Jenkins' room before or after school or during B Day lunches. If the internet is "down" at home, use a flash or
USB drive to save your work and bring to school with you.
4. Ask a responsible friend to print for you if you email the document to them. Just remember, if your friend forgets, the work is late.
